Looks like the Dems will pick up 12 seats in the VA House of Delegates, which will go from 51-49 to 63-37 D-R. That's an honestly shocking result.
Populism is a rhetorical style that goes after elites (including corporations, billionaires, etc), and it's extremely effective.
Bernie/AOC/Mamdani are left wing populists on the economy and health care. It's quite popular and other Democrats should emulate it!

This administration has been, by far, the most censorial administration in my lifetime. They're punishing people for speech about Palestine, about Charlie Kirk, about ICE, about the President. It's been nonstop attacks on speech.
California has now banned algorithmic price fixing.
The state has outlawed the practice of landlords colluding to raise prices using rental software and AI.
This is a huge victory for renters in the biggest state in the country.
Right-wing figures like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes, and MTG have all been running to the left on foreign policy and are a mixed bag of semi-left wing opinions.
All of them have followings made up of normal people who could easily swing left if the left tried to organize them.
