These aren't done yet. They need their glaze or their dusting of powdered sugar. These are pecan melts, and some areas call them wedding cookies, though the recipe i have for both are different to me.

#12daysof #baking #12daysofxmas #cupcakes Today we made a vanilla cupcake with cream cheese frosting topped with sprinkles —tree sprinkle collection from Walmart—in honor of our oldest turning 14 tomorrow. He is an exceptional gent!

They really don't fall flat for those concerned. The ingredients in vanilla pudding (mainly the thickening agents like cornstarch) help keep the dome shapes.

They definitely were a fan favorite.

Submission guidelines are exactly to do that. From the initial contact to the format/layout of the file. I've got agents and pubs that I format for & when they need xyz they mean exactly xyz. Failure to read the guidelines can tank a good writer quick.

From my submission editors I work with in other veins, they say it's because it's easier to either be on topic or not, and it makes the pool smaller to sort through.

I had exceptional luck with them/holiday submissions than general submissions.

First time I've made Fudgy Crinkle Cookies. They are good. Not exactly what I was after. Might try adding cornstarch next time. It's a very sticky dough.
