It's always nice to be able to make someone happy just by doing a tiny thing that doesn't cost me much of anything except a little bit of time.

Made it out to do the Staples returns. Told two people to go in front of me because I had like 15 items to return and they only had one or two each. Seemed like it made the day for one of them, so. That's cool.

Yeah, they made friends at Esme's bath last week and Esme settled in her little lap until I was ready to pick her up.

Esme loves kids, so it's nice to get to make two people happy at once just by letting them hang out.

oh I forgot. At Bella's bath appointment, the groomer's child was there and she was excited to let me and Bella into the salon but then she realized Bella isn't Esme.

I'm being a bit hyperbolic because we usually do get Dems on the ballot for the biggest races but not for a lot of the local stuff anymore and even where the Dems are on our ballots, they don't get the kind of support and resources of the Republican candidates.
