I normally don't make reflection posts for the end of the year, but I thought I would this year because why not. This year of 2025 was the year that I decided to come back to playing competitive Splatoon after a long four year break from the competitive scene. After deciding that I'd be only playing competitive for the fun of it in order to prevent myself from burning out, I have to say that I've done more than I was expecting this year. I have some trouble with believing in my own skills sometimes and that's still true today, but the fact that I was able to win not one, not two, but three different tournaments is still kinda wild to me to this day. Not to mention a couple upsets here and there, and a few other podiums as well.

I've met some wonderful people over the course of this year, and I'm really grateful for that. My social skills still kinda suck, but I should probably give myself some credit for even reaching out to people and starting again on this silly competitive journey. It's still a struggle to reach out to people and communicate (at least in text), but it's getting ever so slightly easier for me, so there's something. I restarted my journey into competitive playing just Heavy Edit and Zap, and then transitioning back to my roots with Sploosh, and picking up Forge and vMini. I loved being a cooler bot, but I think I love getting into people's faces more. 😂 I don't think I have too many competitive goals for 2026 aside from winning FTIU and getting D7 banned afterwards.

I could write out a whole bunch of goals I want to achieve in the new year, but I really don't have too many at this moment and I'm just content with where I'm at right now (which is hella weird for a competitive player to say, huh?). I'm just having a good time being silly with my silly little weapons, that's all. :) Anyway, I'll finish my incoherent rambling with saying thank you to anyone and everyone who has either talked to me this year or has played with me this year. It was honestly a massive step for me to put my foot back into the competitive scene and I appreciate every part of it. - Sincerely, your local shy Sploosh main ✨️

2025, to sum up this year, its 100% chaos. Lots of change, lots of things happening at once, and lots of moments, however there is one thing that did not change, I like to think I accomplished a lot this year, academically, competitive games, and my music career, as the year closes, thank you :)

I think everyone for a resolution for 2026, is to generally just be more kind, people go through a lot, and one compliment can make someones day, week, month, year, so be kind :)

I have noticed how much burnout I was in comp splatoon, I love comp splatoon and will continue, but with each passing set I feel myself being tired and not wanting to play the whole tournament. I am taking a couple weeks off competitive, thank you to everyone who is supporting me, yall are the best!

On november 15th, 2024 I played my very first FTIU Showing very high potential in my abilities, with hard work, dedication to improve and other things. Now almost a whole year later, I am now FTIU banned. This is a huge milestone. Thank you everyone who has supported me, and i will continue to grow
