A shot of my TV. An episode of Star Trek (The Enemy Within). Sulu (a Japanese-American man aged around thirty, played by George Takei) is doing a very good job of keeping a straight face while holding an alien creature. The alien creature is very obviously a deeply unimpressed small terrier in a fake-fur coat with a single fake horn on its forehead.
Watching some very serious deeply philosophical hard science fiction.
