I feel like I have so much landlord trauma from over the years of not ever really getting to renew, when I hadn't heard from our landlord about renewing i thought he maybe wasn't going to continue renting to us.

I won't have to do a big service like this again for a while since I don't do a ton of travel, but when it hits it hurts lmao...
I love having a car and I adore my car, but MAN service prices hurt.
Due for the big service package to respect the warranty and its 400$ but covers a ton.
Still got 4 years left on my payments and 3 years left of my warranty, want this thing to live for a while.
I am so excited for Gorillaz in October. We still have to finalize hotel and flights, but its going to be so nice to have a long weekend away from everything.
We are starting to plan what we want to see in the area ahead of time so we can make the most of everything.
Somebody in the neighborhood group confirmed it was a domestic dispute, but since the guy there has a history of being violent with cops in the past, they came out ready for shit to go down.
Usually our neighborhood is peaceful and friendly, but apparently we have some bad eggs further down the street.
10+ cop cars, two ambulances, multiple swat vehicles. Didn't think it was anything crazy so went outside to look but rushed back in as soon as I saw a swat van.
Took my old phone listing off marketplace because the messages/offers I was getting were absurd and I had gotten over 40 messages.
I'll keep it as a spare or just give it to my sister's work to use for music.
I'd rather make no money than deal with a low baller who wants to resell it for profit.

Went back to check and ticket master released more seats, but they are basically behind the stage and only a fraction less than I paid. They really have to get the ticket reselling situation under control, it's BRUTAL.
SO glad I grabbed our Gorrilaz tickets when I did because it's already been scalped completely and now basic seats are going for 300-1000$. Fuck you scalpers I'm gonna see Gorillaz

Unlike some folks I understand why the gas prices go up during scenarios like this, but MAN does it hurt my wallet 😅 told nyx we are gonna have to use the car strictly for work and groceries. May even get a bus pass since that's technically cheaper for now.
While it's kinda nice my boss is away and the two folks helping me while he's gone are helping in any way they can, I got a flood of things the clients want that only me or my boss can do.

After bouncing around brands a bit, finally back with good ol reliable samsung. Just got one of the basic models but so happy with it. Thank God for Costco deals because I paid 150$ less than usual retail price 😅
Our landlord already does so much for us, I know he just got surgery in December for a hernia and it's a tight shower. Feel it's the least I could do for all he's done for us.

I'm the type of tenant that notices the caulk in the shower is lifting and has a few small moldy spots, but didn't want to bother the landlord for it since it's not a make or break thing.
Got everything I needed and did it myself, cost maybe 12$ and 1 hour. Made sure I did it real nice and smooth 👌
I'm never at stores right when they open, but dropped nyx off for his shift and decided I'm already in the car, might as well wait for the grocery store to open and go do all my running around now since everything opens at 8 🤣

I haven't had a lot of financial stability during my 20s so finally being financially stable after all this time feels amazing. I'm so proud of the progress I made.
Starting over was scary but it all paid off in the end.
I broke my glasses last night beyond repair 🥹 good things I have extra funds this month, my work insurance covers the exam but not the glasses themselves, which is the expensive part 😬

Nyx and I goofed and fell asleep at like 8:30 last night and woke up at around 3am. Our sleep schedule a lil fucked up but at least we are fully awake for our shifts 🤣
Apparently fortnite is trying to get pokemon sidekicks and I won't lie... If I can get a vaporeon sidekick, my streak of not spending a dime recently on fortnite might end 🤣
Same thing if they add bunnies, if they make bunny sidekicks that can look like Gus and Freya, nyx and I will both cave.
I rarely get Tim Hortons because it's not nearly as good as it used to be, but caved and grabbed a few timbits this morning to share with Nyx when he gets home.

Don't forget, this is the same company that had a console (switch 1) that HAS Bluetooth compatibility, and only activated the option to use Bluetooth headsets years into the consoles life.
