Spotted in the wild
Not least of which is switching to a cursor-based interface even on controller, which, holy Christ, it's been 12 years since Destiny 1 came out and everyone attempting to copy its interface is still failing and sucking balls in a way that doesn't seem like it should be possible.
And as a result I keep falling off of Diablo-likes, looter shooters and MMOs as the endgame treadmill makes up a larger part of the intended experience, and... boy, it bums me out that every change in Borderlands 4 seems to be to make it more like Destiny and funnel you onto more treadmills faster.
I guess this is where a lot of MMO carrots don't work for me either, I'm so much more about the journey, of leveling and scraping by and having an incomplete build and working with crap gear, and then when I reach the endgame where you're meant to be super powerful and optimize a build I get bored.
When a special live event or something happens that gifts me with a huge windfall of legendary gear in Borderlands or Destiny, I think what they want me to feel is "yaaay! Top tier loot! Gimme that dopamine!" but what I actually feel is "Aw, now I won't get to change my gear for like 3 levels."

Incredible music and presentation, incredible stages. Deviously balanced weapons that can greatly change the game on repeat playthroughs. Uhhh... probably a really interesting story to dissect, a lot of people say that, I just let it wash over me and still enjoyed it. Unqualified recommendation.
Getting the true ending in ZeroRanger gave me the same high as a Souls game. When people say it's a great shmup for beginners, they don't mean it's easy or lesser, more that it's a sample platter, from light bullet hell to tight R-Type style stages, although with some cruel edges sanded down.

In honor of the upcoming motion picture Toy Story 17, I've started a new account called "GET IPAD" that documents the first time fictional characters from the past come across a smart device.

No, because unlike Flash I've actually read a Tracer comic.

Huh. There must not be that many, 'cause I've NEVER heard of this one.
I haven't read enough comics to know if tons of writers have already done jokes where Gotham thugs are constantly getting Batwoman and Batgirl mixed up.
...huh. Is there no lady Flash? I mean, there are obviously gonna be like five, but none I know the name of offhand.
"Good job surviving Uth Duna. As a reward, have enough mats to make yourself two pieces of high-level preview armor that you'll be using for the next four or five hours. Do you want the boring leather greaves or the barefoot stockings with tons of accessories?"
I... this is entrapment!
Part of me says quick heal/cure is QoL taken too far and I'm wrestling with that part of myself in the mud, trying to hold its face under until it stops moving. Just because I've spent dozens of hours paging through the stupid item bar with PSP controls doesn't mean it's fun! This is clearly better!
As someone who already can't commit to a single weapon in MH and hops between like... 7 of them, the ability to carry two weapons in Wilds is a change that I'm gonna have a really hard time letting go of. Along with grabbing loot from afar and the quick "optimal heal" and "optimal cure" options.
Restarted Monster Hunter Wilds and between performance improvements, feeling my new character design and taking the time to enjoy the journey and explore each area instead of rushing to when "the game opens up" I'm enjoying it a lot more. Also the changes to the light bowgun are wicked sick.
Fuuuck.

Every time I see a "Girls' Love" cover posted by this account I perk up, scroll down and get disappointed remembering that's not the kind they meant back then.
