Honoured and humbled as I received news that I finally am an adoptant of a grave at the Netherlands America Cemetery. Please meet Clarence Fahnert, 20 y/o from San Antonio, TX. A waist gunner with 385th Bomb Group, he was killed 3-Mar-1944 near Boxtel, NL on his first mission.
In between tours and chillaxing, watching one of the best films ever made, at least in my opinion.

In Krakow - this particular spot was used as a scene in Schindler’s List - alongside it some really informative notice boards with descriptions about life in the Jewish Quarter
First stroll around Krakow and the old Jewish quarter. Me and @jojohook.bsky.social having a drink in a nice bar which, interestingly back in the day, used to be a synagoge. The wall paintings still show the building’s former role.
