When I'm done with my current project I want to be a bit more systematic about my doilies. I want to make a study of common motifs and designs and replicate them. I'll find a few patterns, work one up, make one of my own, rinse, repeat. Kind of like how poets would work in the style of other poets

So I've been wanting to start designing my own doilies again. It's been a minute since I've really focused on something like that. Last year was a great crochet year for me, but I kind of took a break from designing originals. Maybe it was burnout. But I'm working on something now. #crochet
