Chris Murphy: "I Just came from a two hour, closed door classified briefing on the war. It just confirmed to me it's totally incoherent. We are not gonna be able to achieve any of our stated objectives ... this is a disaster of epic proportions, a 10 day debacle"
Seeing how, in reality, "simple" actions are hard, imagine how much harder is to "simply" copy them. Such copying is a special thing, and doesn't come easy (and involves many other things, too).

New blogpost from my business partner about how we are teaching AI the wrong way — should not be about prompting, but how to design systems, cultivate judgement, delegate specialized tasks. anastasiastasenko.substack.com/p/the-phenom...

LLMs can’t be conscious because it’s too hot inside an H100 for the homunculus to survive
and: I'll posit that in the modern world where you can learn basically any skill on demand, from experts, for ~free, at your fingertips... it's really never been easier to be great at a bunch of things at once
the old tradeoff was just that weak access to information made skill accumulation slow
show don't tell!
Daylight savings means nothing to me because I use epoch time. Oh it’s “11 o’clock?” Cute. It’s 1772991390 o’unix
Caitlin KALINOWSKI over X I resigned from OpenAl. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together. This wasn't an easy call. Al has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I'm proud of what we built together.
OpenAI head of robotics just resigned over company deal with the Pentagon saying…
“Surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got”
spec-first development is gonna get trashed once we invert vibe intent. I'm tired of the waterfall cooler talk

I've been fine tuned by my own experiences well enough to judge my own actions in situ - RAG is my go to for deep work, but I don't need it for raw invention because I've invented and failed already before - Claude will get here too
behold the power of machine learning
Anyone else writing text files to shebang claude?
GPT-5.4 Pro, Opus, and Gemini DeepThink: "Prove to me in a PowerPoint that there was no advanced dinosaur civilization by downloading whatever data you think appropriate & running tests"
GPT-5.4 and Claude downloaded data and did some original analyses, but someone build a harness for Deep Think!
Highly recommended!
So far, "ai" is slapped into systems as an afterthought - or. Ai is used to build the procedure itself. Skills are an okay approximation to our next paradigm: Code and language intertwined, tool calling itself isn't perfect because it ignores the lessons of the PL community
Software was a way for standardized business practices to be automated efficiently and correctly - naturally GenAI isn't a good fit, _unless_ your business processes still aren't perfectly defined. AI in software currently doesn't acknowledge the gradient between procedures as code vs human language
I can't think of posts fast enough!!
Someday for the whole bsky corpus but i did some embedding and clustering and novelty for your 1000 posts.
