Did my first donation of platelets today after being a blood donor for a few years. Well worth checking if you are able to if you have the right blood group. Hereβs a rubbish promotional photo #GiveBlood

Huge congratulations to both of you π₯°
The Omaze waterfront house competition ad is giving me massive Christ on a Bike vibes (excellent book by Orla Owen - I highly recommend it). I think itβs the big windows and strangeness of it all. I hope the winners have to sign weird contracts. @ofmooseandmen.bsky.social
Oh Iβm so sorry to hear this. What a beautiful boy he was x
That looks gorgeous. Great colour.
Yay! Iβm going on Sunday. Iβm expecting massively enjoyable nonsense
Sports reporters: itβs been a really disappointing day for Team GB. Cut to post event interview with Mia Brookes looking absolutely buzzing and delighted to be living her best life. Love her. #MilanoCortina
Iβm in love with them. I have a proper curling crush
I always panic that the first few rows of everything look crap until somehow it all starts looking ok. Itβs such a good feeling creating things though. Iβm glad you are enjoying it (mostly)
That yarn is really tricky. The doubling up means you have to really concentrate to not only pick up one strand etc. Looks lovely knitted up though (I have an unfinished jumper in the same stuff) - will pick it back up when Iβve finished my current one (in about 2028 at this rate)
Iβd like to have a go at the luge in the ordinary people Winter Olympics. A nice lie down, but going very fast #MilanoCortina
Herman is watching the opening ceremony #MilanoCortina
Happy birthday Christopher ππππ₯
Iβm looking forward to my four-yearly obsession with the curling
Happy birthday you gorgeous lady πππ₯π₯³π₯°
Watching a BBC4 recording of Jeff Buckley in Chicago. Such a beautiful talent. I remember a driving holiday in Scotland when we played Grace on a loop. It was ace. Gone far too soon, just like his dad.
Yes, she had a GSOH
I didnβt read the book until my forties and found it interesting but hilariously hysterical. I think this is why itβs great for film adaptations. Iβd probably have loved it in my teens
Family funeral today (ex father in law, a long and colourful life well lived). The usual mixture of really sad but reuniting with people Iβve not seen in years. Excellent send off. Go well Tony x
There are no words to make this better but I just want to send love. Devastating news and Iβm thinking of you all xx
Happy birthday Sam π₯°π₯ππ₯³ππ»
β€οΈ Prizes for everyone. This is why Iβd be a terrible judge at Crufts
You have all the best animals (apart from my cat, obviously)
Global Eye on BBC2 is so good. Itβs basically a tv version of From Our Own Correspondent
Loved that film
At the point in the evening where me and the cat are blinking at each other. Iβm taking it as a sign of our eternal bond. Heβs probably plotting my demise
Mine are Zing and I love them. As you say, it depends on what material you prefer. The Symphonie ones are really pretty though
They are really good
I use metal, and I make everything using circular needles (whether required or not) as I find it easier to control them and not drop stitches). Mine are KnitPro ones
