Somehow I keep forgetting that Jubilee spent almost a decade as a vampire, and it's always a fun surprise when something like this reminds me.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised that the popularity of something like this ended up being generational. Harry Potter hit at the right place and time to resonate with a young audience that grew up loving it. Kids now have a fundamentally different relationship with it.
This just feels like a weird way to announce that the Ultimate universe isn't actually ending.
