I'm on medication, I worked with multiple specialists over the past couple years, I've trained myself to be patient and understanding with the way my brain works, but boy, that feeling of "I can't do anything right" really lingers.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was generally well-regarded in film circles for those first few weeks then some autistic kid who suffers from panic attacks was too earnest about liking seeing themselves represented & suddenly it became cringe because no one can think for themselves.

I don't think it's UNtrue to her character at this point in the story, she's shown to be pretty ruthless in the climax of Alabasta in the manga and later in the story she outright states she has worked as an assassin. It's just a part of her life we don't see as much of in the source material.
One interesting thing that is Ms. All-Sunday, who has a lot more screentime than in the source material and as a result appears much more openly sadistic instead of just mysterious and self-interested.
All the performances are great, David Dastmalchian is a particular highlight but everyone saw that coming. Hiruluk's actor brought palpable Christopher Lloyd energy to the role which was very appreciated. Mikaela Hoover is perfect as Chopper.
They've shifted around a few things and introduced a couple characters and concepts much earlier but I think it's effective foreshadowing rather than spoilers. I was curious how they'd handle the "Raftel/Laugh Tale" mix-up and they're just calling it Laugh Tale from the start which works fine.
One Piece season 2 verdict: Excellent, better than the first
Skews closer to the manga in spirit than season 1 but still has a lot of understandable changes and nuances that I think for the most part work for it.
