I feel like Grace would be a better fit if it’s presented in that same way Ethan Must Die was, but something retooled specifically for Leon could absolutely be great too.
Watching the announcement, I feel like him wearing an Ethan Must Die shirt is a tease. He does troll pretty hard in this video lmao, but adding in some sort of Grace Must Die mode wouldn’t surprise me.
It’s a huge bummer that they didn’t bother to recreate her STARS costume, yeah 😩 it would’ve been nice to get a MT Framework version of it in general.

New players have been assured for over a decade that SH2 is the greatest horror game ever made without having any real way of playing it. Shiny new remake of it that doesn’t play old and weird is a great sales pitch to newer fans 2/2
I think SH2 specifically carries a certain kind of intrigue and weight to it that MGS3 doesn’t as well. Everyone loves OG MGS3 — and also it doesn’t have hundreds of YouTube videos describing it as one of the most interesting, deep, well made games of all time the way OG SH2 does. 1/2
Two very different fandoms, but it’s interesting to me that it took Silent Hill 2 remake just shy of four months (October 7-January 29) to sell 2 million, while it took MGS∆ around six (August 26-March 10).

Leon’s fought giant spiders even outside of Raccoon City, in Operation Javier. It doesnt really matter, until Capcom says otherwise RE2/REmake 2 are simultaneously canon.
They all have issues, Leon and Ashley’s REmake 4 designs really bother me too, but they’re almost all bizarre and lack artistic voice. Focused on some vague idea of realism rather than anything that looks appealing. Extremely strange thought process, I can’t wait for Capcom to move past it.
I could write a very long thread on why I hate it lol.
