I mean, I see your point and agree, but I also don't begrudge anyone who wants to prioritize winning now. 28 years since we've seen them win a game beyond the ALDS! It's tiring.

Classic fan-damage here, but this is a situation where even though I don't really care about the Orioles at all I legitimately can't stand Mike Elias. He's not upholding the basic terms of the Being A Baseball Team social contract, and it sure seems like a vanity/ideology thing. What a waste.
