Yeah. That would have been a ripper. Discharge at the height of their powers also.

Agreed. Shame it was never fully realised.
Ohhh ok. In all the Black Flag legend and lore i donβt recall that coming up. Nice pick up. Definitely wasnβt aware. Wild. I love these off the rails drummers.
ha ha Robo, coz he's like a robot...
I wish they had made it work with Chuck Biscuits. His style would have really worked on a decent sounding record. Nothing particularly flashy about BF records. His performance on Danzigs I-III were π₯ And those records sound phenomenal.
Ha ha. When i said that is all. I just meant that was my statement, not that i didnβt like anything else from that label. I could have phrased that better.
I really like Body Type. That is all.
The best. Probably could have filled him under L for Little Philthy ha ha
I have. Yes. Thanks. I think you recommended it to me earlier. Appreciated.
Nice one. Was playing The Hellacopters today. Noting thatβs not unusual. Entombed less so.

Yeah. I can see how thatβd work - Discharge i mean. And i totally agree about the interpretation of a song. Direct covers are dull. Gotta make it your own.
Yeah, it was less ominous when Seps did it. Of all the MotΓΆrhead songs to cover though... I would have loved for them to have done Burner... which obviously couldn't have happened in 1991
I still play this and its successor a lot! Great records. Hard to say if they're timeless, but I still find them extremely engaging.
ha ha and what a soundtrack. legit banger!!
Thatβll do it.
Yesss, I've seen a few docs in recent years. Excellent insights into the band, but also Australia in the mid-ish 80s. Awesome.
Great song, great message. Played this just this week past. My fave. MO record for sure.
youtu.be/se9-HI_VjwE?...
I have no connection to the original, but the Priest make this one a banger.
This is a killer comp. NMN a capella of Forward to Death and Napalm Deathβs Nazi Punks were killer.
a different vocalist. BIB operated on quite a different level. It's hard for me to see past the lyrics in that regard. I guess they felt more Australian w Bon in the band. If you'll indulge me...
Thanks for the comment, appreciated.
ha ha this is the problem w being a Bon Scott loyalist.
I think I outlined some of that transitional thinking in this piece: medium.com/the-riff/had...
I managed to get across what I think some of the key differences are. I'm sure you'd agree, it's not just...
The title track is all that. I did a little write up about this very thing: medium.com/the-riff/cha...
Donβt Change was playing at Bunnings yesterday. Hardly more an Australian moment to be had.
Havenβt listened to an INXS album in aeons, but they definitely had some bangers.
Great comment. I feel that too.
Awesome. Thank you!
Yesssss. My fave Sodom record. jasonmhealey.medium.com/10-reasons-w...
Killer record. I wrote a piece about them recently and the context of a hostile Queensland - the state in which they formed. medium.com/the-riff/the...
Johnny Ramone's face in that photo... In End of the Century when he bangs on about how America is the greatest country in the world. That's the face that proves he believes it ha ha.
Oh yeah, that's a ripper. Haven't listened to this in a long time. Killer guitar tone from memory.
