I wish as well as a ‘next day’ delivery option there was also a ‘just have it sent by royal mail’ option. I’d happily pay a couple of quid more to receive my parcel by the only competent delivery service operating in my area.

Yeah, Jos’ machinations to increase his influence at Red Bull are definitely all a part of this calculation. Unlikely he’d have that same influence at Mercedes, where it’s very much Toto Wolff’s show. But perhaps the Verstappens think Red Bull is a lost cause now? It’s all very Game of Thrones.

I genuinely think fan service is, nine times out of ten, the killer of good storytelling.
I’m really not surprised that Meghan 2.0 is struggling so bad compared to the first one. I really think the creators put way too much stock in all the internet memes and failed to appreciate that most people who saw the first one were horror fans, not campy cunty robot fans.
Every single political faction on social media *regularly* rewrites history and makes stuff up that their perceived enemies never actually said, and yet every single group is simultaneously convinced they never do it and it’s all those other people actually.
I saw that on the broadcast! If I’d been sat at the hairpin watching that trailer on repeat for hours and hours I would’ve hated the F1 movie with a dark passion by the end of it.
The real sport couldn’t be more gross with product placement, so I’m not surprised. I understand the main female character sleeps with the driver, which is so disappointing considering how hard women fought and are still fighting to get taken seriously in F1.
I’m so torn. Sounds like the racing scenes are great, but it’s a bit ridiculous if you know anything about F1. I’ve seen it described as TG Maverick with cars, but I really enjoyed TGM as a bit of dumb fun. I probably will see it, for the fun of spotting the real people and places if nothing else.

Everything I’ve seen about M3GAN 2.0 suggests to me that the filmmakers have made the fatal mistake of listening way too much to the fan discourse. Never a good idea for any creative project.
