It is quite curious that every election I get a voter card for someone who does not live at my address, hasn’t lived there for at least 15 years, or more likely, ever. Even more so when I report it every single time, yet the following election, it happens again. #ontariovote #provincialelection #huh

Absolutely spectacular. I consider myself a pretty fair quilter but dang, the artistry on this one is just phenomenal.

Found a very simple abounds jacket pattern and cut pieces after work. I knit and quilt but is my first attempt at garment sewing, so fingers crossed that it turns out.

But first out to shovel ☹️

Went thrifting on Saturday and got a nice selection of fabric sheets to turn into clothing, fingers crossed. Spent a very snowy Sunday laundering and unpicking the seam on what will hopefully become a light jacket.

Put them right sides together and saw on one side about 1/4” from the edge. you’re sewing! go from there.

Been playing with my stash a lot lately. These looks like they could make a nice quilted spring vest. I made a (very) simple sewing pattern, now to figure out how to put together the patchwork.
