My insomnia has been out of control. Probably from some bad #PEM. My doc gave me a sleeping pill which I can use occasionally. I hope I wake with some energy tomorrow as I have a short work shift. Wishing everyone a peaceful night 💤😴 #LC #ME/CFS

Kitty got a haircut today. We have started to do this for her comfort once per year when the weather gets too hot. She hates being combed and has long fur so it helps with hygiene too. It doesn’t look like it, but she’s much happier. #restingbitchface #rescuekitty

Potentially devastating move by the province for these patients. And do we really believe the motive of ensuring that patients get one-to-one care when it will leave many with no care? I don't. This should be very low on the list of things for the province to be reevaluating.
It also looks like the research was funded by a company that sells oxaloacetate, so has a lot to gain from a positive study

Pacing is painful for me. My ADHD wants to believe I can do it all. I have had such a difficult time slowing down, but am getting better with the help of my OT. I use the Visible app, but we can’t get the armband in Canada yet. Hopefully soon 🤞🏻
We have spent up to $10000 on a couple of vacations and live near the border where we can pop down for a day trip to shop or even just for brunch. Won’t be happening anytime soon. I want my kids to learn to stand up for what they believe in and I’m doing that by standing up for what I believe in.
I’m an MD who stopped working due to burnout over a year ago. I pushed through a lot in an attempt to get better. Now realizing it’s LC and have had to stop everything to find my baseline. Thanks for sharing your story to help people like me.
My early morning light therapy looks different today. Newly diagnosed with long covid means that sleep is even more important. I do feel like my focus on light in the morning, dim and red light at night have helped.

Bill is going for knee surgery today. We spent last night in a hotel and he refused to sleep in his bed. He is well-rested, while I was awake all night listening to him snore as he snuggled into my back. Small sacrifice for the little fart bucket.

Daylight savings has made it more difficult to get early morning light to help with insomnia. It has also made insomnia worse. And it’s too cold! But I get to listen to the birds who have returned for spring. It’s the small things 💕

I totally agree with this as a gifted adult with ADHD and having 2 children with ADHD, one with dyscalculia and the other gifted. These things won't get in their way.
I’m way past the days when I would have gone to NYC New Years Eve. I would go for the art though.
