Today a guy came up to me and said he’s never voted Greens, but this year he will be. He said the one thing that made him change his vote to Green, is because we don’t take donations from big corporations unlike Labor and the Liberals. We can’t be bought and we can’t be sold out.

Instead, we can have renewables which are the cheapest form of power, to bring down power bills and bring down emissions now, not in 15 years. A vote for the Greens will keep Dutton and his dangerous nuclear out, and push Labor to act on the climate crisis and cost of living.

The Liberals want to build nuclear power plants to bring down power bills. So in 15 years we’ll have cheaper power bills, except that we won’t because according to the CSIRO, nuclear will cost twice as much as renewables (the cheapest form of power). Still struggling to work this one out 🤨

Instead, we can have renewables which is the cheapest form of power, to bring down power bills and bring down emissions now, not in 15 years. A vote for the Greens will keep Dutton and his dangerous nuclear out, and push Labor to act on the climate crisis and cost of living.

We can’t keep voting for the same two parties and expecting a different result. We don’t want more business as usual, we need real change. Vote 1 Greens this election.

Let’s instead make big gas and big corporations pay their fair share of tax, to fund real cost of living support and climate action such as: affordable clean energy, dental into medicare, free public schooling and fixing the housing crisis.

$56 Billion in fossil fuel subsidies going straight to people like Gina Rinehart and Clive Palmer, and guess what… you’re paying for it. That’s what Labor has delivered in this budget.

It's clear we can’t keep voting for the same two parties and expecting things to change. Vote for a party who don't take donations from big corporations (The Greens) and can't be influenced by them. Vote Greens to keep Dutton out and push Labor to act on the environmental and climate crisis.

Labor will be remembered as the party waving the flag of environmental action while taking back pocket donations from the corporations destroying our environment. They have abandoned everyone who voted for them for action on the climate and environmental crisis.

But this doesn’t stop at Tasmania, this sets a precedent for the roll back of environmental protections nationwide, giving big gas, the logging industry and other environmentally destructive corporations more opportunity to keep ripping up the planet while getting richer than ever. It's a crime.

Labor are caving to multinational salmon corporations in Tasmania with a bill which will make it easier for big corporations to get away with environmental destruction. They’re sending an ancient species extinct, so the salmon corporations can keep the profits flowing in.

The natural world and younger generations are about to be abandoned as Labor and the Liberals collude together to gut our national environment laws. We are in a climate and extinction crisis where we need urgent action to safeguard our future, not destroy it at the behest of big corporations.

Good morning to everyone except our big gas corporations who are taking our gas for free, not paying royalties, making billions of dollars in profit and then sending the gas and the profits overseas.

How will we pay for it? By making the billionaires and big corporations pay their fair share of tax. Currently 1 in 3 big corporations pays no tax. $0. Let's make them pay some tax like everyone else, to provide immediate support for those doing it tough.

1. Put dental into medicare, and make it free to see the GP and psychologist.🦷
2. Free public schooling, by abolishing voluntary payments, as well as $800 back to school support payments.📚
3. Make supermarket price gouging illegal & break up the supermarket duopoly to bring down the cost of food.🥦

The Greens want to support people and families doing it young. The difference between us and the major parties is we have policies to back it up, that will actually make a difference. So here's 5 ways the Greens support people doing it tough this election:

Communities of Victoria and Tasmania have been in opposition to the ConocoPhillips gas drilling project for years. It threatens our ocean, coastlines, climate and the abundance of incredible life that lives in the waters off our coast.

Gas is one of the most polluting and expensive forms of energy. We should be doing all we can to harness the abundance of wind and solar energy we have in Australia, providing cheap, clean energy for people in this time of crisis. More gas will worsen the climate crisis and push up energy costs.

ConocoPhillips has just been given approval to drill 6 gas wells between Victoria and Tasmania. This completely ignores the science of the climate crisis, that there must be no new fossil fuel approvals if we’re to avoid climate breakdown.
