Made this as my final for a digital art class in college! Was restricted to using Adobe Illustrator, which REALLY wasn't my forte, so to challenge myself, I was aiming to recreate my personal favorite style - old-timey hand drawn animation. I got an A on it!

Ten different costumes for Rayman, each inspired by an actual design he uses in the various Rayman games. #2 is Dark Rayman, #5 is inspired by Rayman's friend Globox, #9 is a Ubisoft-inspired skin, #10 is his disco outfit from Rayman Raving Rabbids. The rest take inspiration from the various power-ups of Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc.

IDK, I was on a Sonic kick. Had a whole idea about Walt being the stand-in for Gerald Robotnik and reinterpreting the Space Colony Ark as Walt's vision of EPCOT (w/ elements of Spaceship Earth). Decided it was too fanfic-y so I didn't shared it until now, lmao.

Considering we KNOW that there was more stuff from the Rare games that was scrapped (i.e. Ellie), my personal guess is despite how long it took to get to it, Universal was bound by w/e restrictions Nintendo had in place for the IP licensing in 2015. So focusing mostly on DKCR, and no Kremlings yet.
The deal between Nintendo / Universal was drafted in 2015, and from my understanding, once that initial plan was approved by Nintendo, they locked everything in. Much like how the Mario section is a very sterile Wii U-era representation of Mario and the games from that era, so is the DK section.
