Depressed about anti-trans news coming out of the States, so I'm banging away at revisions on current trans romance WIP, which is all BIG MUSHY FEELINGS ABOUT TOUCH-STARVED CUDDLING
It was nearly one-thirty by the time Maks left, but Eamon was far too agitated to go to sleep. So he didn’t even try, instead opting to stare at the ceiling while having an existential crisis instead. What in the name of the gods was he *doing*? In a city of three-quarters of a million people, Eamon had somehow found the one person more damaged than he was. Maks didn’t have the first clue about boundaries, or consent, or even healthy attachment. And while Eamon hadn’t exactly gotten the best education about that stuff while growing up, at least all he’d had to deal with was some fairly run-of-the-mill parental neglect and emotional abuse from his ten older siblings. All of which paled in comparison to the very ugly picture painted by Maks’ obviously trauma-based reactions and assumptions.
