idk why i never thought of that before. if you just copy the entire wardrobe of ppl u follow, you dont have to do the work of curating outfits for yourself
[pt3] except - they can't. either I've already pulled the most cohesive pieces myself. or they pick things that objectively wld't work together
then it hit me - most ppl (Gen Z especially) probably aren't putting their outfits together themselves. other ppl do it for them
[pt2] some of that is to do with sizing issues, being straight size w/ a big bust. a lot of it is just not being able to pull pieces together into a fit
sometimes, I'll try to shop in person & ask the girlies to help me match something to a piece I like - just to see how they'd make an outfit

now, i love fashion. all sorts of fashion - designer, retail, alt, handmade, altered. I enjoy a variety of styles & I'm fairly aware of what's "trending" But i can't for the life of me translate that onto my own body

Australia is in Spring atm so my "slide" definitely happens around June/July. but if its more to do with the looming threat of the holiday season (stress, loneliness etc) & end-of-year blues (regret, feeling stuck, getting older etc) then the "October Slide" is for sure a worldwide phenomenon
