Stay safe KG. The Kyiv Independent had a report today of life in Kyiv apartments. A frozen waterfall down a building from busted pipes. Sheet of ice on floor of bomb shelter from same. Ceilings falling in from same. Apartments heated only by stoves. Since intermittent power is no longer available..

Never played that much. Always set my piece next to opponent's and lifted theirs off as that's what I saw other players do. If taking opponent off first is OK then my mistake.🙂

Mr. Luna, I appreciated your monologue on immigrants. The pic below expresses my feelings. I was going to add that the Asians and Irish built the intercontinental railroad, the Ford Model A assembly line workers were mostly Southern, Central, and Eastern European immigrants, and so on.

All I knew about Cossacks before the war was really mean looking dudes on horseback terrorizing the countryside. Now I've find they are the foundation of Ukrainian soul and spirit. Not terrorists. If you could recommend a good book on Cossack history I would like to learn more. Thanks KG.
