𧡠3/3 Although they ripped down my signs, we're putting them back up. Our voices will not be silenced!
π§΅2/3 The signs I posted earlier were ripped down a few shorts later, but we managed to get some media attention - I am sure, to the chagrin of the local Conservative campaign.

I took a break from bsky, bc as a π¨π¦ it seemed like it is heavily focused on πΊπΈ political issues. But I'm back on because I'm asking friends here to help fight the good fight against πMAGA, who claim that "Canada is Dying" while denying the trauma of the Residential school system. π§΅1/3
what have i been doing?
In the West, myrrh (Commiphora myrrha, Burseraceae) is best known as one of the three gifts of the biblical magi, but its medicinal value extends far beyond symbolism.
I mean, it wonβt do much, itβs just our way of sharing some feelingsβ¦

yeah itβs hard when they control the information spaceβ¦ how do we take it back?
You guys are doing great. To paraphrase Sun Tzu, if you know yourself and your enemy, you will never lose the war. But you have to take back the information space. You have to shape the outcome you want, and not just react to all the shit they throw. You got this! Drop the America, be United!
yes, thatβs the battle theyβve framed, but itβs divide and conquer to turn us against each other, e.g male vs female, black vs white, str8t vs lbgtq etcβ¦ but itβs fundamentally a class war
if youβre super wealthy none of those identity issues matter - youβre doing just fine

So the USA is going to ethnically cleanse Gaza and build Trump hotels on it. Got it.

Why are we mocking this guy? Honestly, this is what he should be doing. Ask him to drag Stephen Miller along with him.
(PS I just used Stephen Miller and drag in the same sentence!)

6/ THIS is the promise of the psychedelic revolution: to bring us closer to the reality of human suffering, and to chart a path from suffering toward oneness, peace, and love. Anyone advocating drug use without making this explicit should not be trusted.
5/ I want to encourage young people to use substances intelligentlyβnot just to avoid pain, but to gain insight into it. Personal pain can be a force for good. When you confront and acknowledge it, you make life better for yourself and for others.
4/ Famous figures like Elon Musk, who openly advocate for and seemingly use ketamine, present a troubling model. Here we see someone avoiding interior work, using ketamine to dissociate from trauma, and projecting that unresolved pain onto society.
3/ Beyond its concerning effects on bladder function, continually dissociating yourself from the pain in your life disempowers your ability to create positive change. Overcoming trauma is hard, and while ketamine may offer insight, eventually you have to live your real life.
2/ As a general principle, ketamine is a powerful dissociative that can disconnect users from the lived reality of their life. While this can provide insight into trauma and have therapeutic benefits, excessive use can lead to serious problems.
1/ As someone with 20+ years experience using formerly or currently "illicit" substances like psilocybin mushrooms and cannabis in my practice, I have serious concerns about the growing popularity of ketamine. While it has therapeutic benefits, I have big concerns. π§΅
yeah i do that, esp around my raspberries but anywhere i want to keep weeds down and moisture in
a heavy mulch like straw is a good option to keep moisture in the soil⦠also creating berms/basins to catch/hold water; shade cloth to reduce evaporation, cover crops etc ⦠and perhaps most importantly, improve your soil fertility and its capacity to hold water
