Agree Merrell very poor. Had older Inov8s where uppers rotted very quickly but seem a lot better now. Terraultra’s on over 1000km and X talons used for swim run and muddy trails with no issues.

1/3 We all like to run alongside rivers, following muddy trails, cycle paths and pavements.

Taking time to stretch the legs & appreciate the wildlife, the blue flash of a Kingfisher, the yellow flowers of the water lilies.

But as we run we notice the impacts of pollution & waste. A global issue.

I’m happy not to receive a medal just for taking part, but do like the wildflower seed medals that events like Ultra Trails offer. Think it’s a case of giving people choice but ensuring sustainability at same time.
