Can’t see how Schumer moves past this as leader.
I like Schumer, but what has he won in the last decade other than a lucky break in 2020?
He’s lost his pulse on the party and can’t bring wins. This was the final nail in the coffin.

This is an attack on the EEOC and the idea that people should have civil rights in their workplace. With everything else happening today, this is another unbelievable move. I'm proud to be part of a team that is doing critical work to push back.
Proud of our friend and @katzbankskumin.bsky.social client, Sam Salehpour, for his courage in continuing to speak up about Boeing's safety practices.
“Impacted by layoffs” somehow entered the public consciousness as a phrase and it’s one of the most irritating pieces of Orwellian doublespeak I see daily.

People who don’t bow to cult of Elon and Donald are constantly bombarded by harassment on Twitter, and it only gets worse.
Why why why would we stay?
Yearly collaborative turkey agreement yielded flavorful, juicy results. Looking forward to our continued Thanksgiving work together, Judy.
Happy #DeathBlart day to all who celebrate!
Good. It’s horrific how other platforms abused their reach to strangle local, independent, and national outlets alike.
I WANT to see news and actual vetted work and I WANT journalists to get rewarded for it.
Because I want to live in a thinking human world over some AI generated slop dystopia
Til Death Do Us Blart. A group of five people have agreed to watch and discuss Paul Blart Maul Cop 2 once a year from now until the end of time.
Episode 9 comes out on Thanksgiving. Watching the movie isn’t really necessary.
You're not "late to the party" when you enjoy an old book for the first time. Books don't have an RSVP deadline. The party started long ago, and guests show up when they're meant to.

I’m thinking about switching to a 2008-style dumb phone. Has anyone tried this? How did it go?
The monumental grace that Sarah McBride is showing right now is astounding.

1. Sleeping in your office. Seriously, if I found out my boss was sleeping in their office, I would have questions. Just because they have a public salary doesn't mean this is at all acceptable. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...
Things happening in Congress that would get probably you fired from your regular job, today edition:
It’s only a “demagogue” if it’s from the Demagouge region of Greece, otherwise its sparkling authoritarianism.

Just read on my bird app feed that women who are upset about the election should “quit the histrionics” and Obama is apparently a moron for endorsing Kamala Harris. That just isn’t it dawg.
It’s just Truth Social over there now.
West of Worcester is not inclusive of the city itself. #MaPoli

Me, at the #MaPoli store: "Mom, it would be cool to have a Kennedy in high office."

"Is your turkey a saboteur" is a question I will be asking all of my friends, all the time, forever.
watching a dem "influencer" shift content from progressive causes to wildly conspicuous cosumption. Wasn't going to say anything, but the private plane content after pics of a wildly expensive wedding sent me.
Great for her, but we shouldn't be wondering why the dem internet game didn't resonate.
I was told Bluesky was going to be a better place! 😥
Apparently we're all using Bluesky again? What's up folks -- anything interesting happen in the last week or so?
