I always get irritated by people calling horror protagonists "dumb". It doesn't matter if they do your "smart" thing, they'll still get got! If they don't walk down into the creepy basement, then it'll turn out the monster was in the kitchen cabinet and the basement was the only safe place!

yesterday was mid 40s and humid/rainy so not as bad! but it had dropped to the 30s and upper 20s last week which was miserable 😭😭
