Little silver lining from the past couple of weeks: hearing about a library who will be running events to play solo RPGs, including The Wandering Library, as a way to build tabletop gaming and creative communities. I absolutely love this, and am honoured that my little game can help with that! 💚

I love Apothecaria and it's a great game, but unfortunately I don't think it quite hits the specific "self-care" aspect, although I suppose arguably that depends on how you play it. But the focus is more on caring for others as the local healing witch

It’s #MapMonsterMonday! Gerard de Jode’s 1593 map of northern Europe features a trio of fanciful sea monsters that appear to be having a grand time frolicking among the ships. This map is held by a private collector.
A green wax seal with an intricate crest for F.G. holds a banner announcing “Fantastical Geographic presents” under is a silhouette of a fictional creature with the large words “who’s that critter?” In large above it. A quote from ‘The traveling menagerie’ implies this insectoid can help with illusions. Credit is given to Cloaks & Capes. A booklet at the bottom states more can be found out from the ‘adopt a critter’ in this month’s multi-planar travel magazine and exploration packet for GMs.”
