Took my charcoal stick and made marks with it.
But really this is the best set of the bunch, I think...

I'm so proud of myself for finally updating my website. Want to see some drawings, paintings, and stuff like that?

It worries me to see a brush treated this way.
Researchers at Harvard concluded that it takes about 3% of a population to make change and that peaceful protests are MORE EFFECTIVE than violent protests.
It proves (again) how effective each one of us can be in advancing the change we want to see in our society.

Woe to us without access.
Falling sucks but the Tesla adds an unfeeling poetry.
This one's racist.
I asked (a few times) if peacocks were carnivorous because I they made me nervous and it eventually got me kicked off of NextDoor.
Peackocks are controversial business, apparently.
I liked the Adams Ave bridge sketch so much I decided to draw one of the Eastgate Mall bridge. I drive under both almost daily. It's a joy.
I drive under the Adams Avenue bridge almost every day. It's probably my favorite one. I did this Procreate sketch as a postcard to my pal, Chuck.
Small bits from the sketchbook.
I can imagine more restorative justice, and I can imagine incarceration that is more humane than what I see today... but I have difficulty imagining a system of justice for a (very) capitalist country that rises above market forces to prioritize rehabilitation and treatment.
All kinds of editorializing this treatment might bring. Interesting. I like it.
Weird how much narrative a face shape carries.
I think anyone and everyone is fun. I'm also interested in seeing more of their ephemera; favorite eating utensils, winter underwear, a musical instrument they know how to play, their familiar plants and animals... I love all the lore.
I am reserving one canvas print for my old friend Lonny Bristle.
Okay, friends! Listen up.
I have a four perfect-size canvas cloths for making a short edition of this cool design. I can also run the stencil over bed sheet cotton, upholstery naugahyde, or paper. In sum: I have four canvas Crass banners and an unknown quantity of guerrilla prints for you all. HMU
Here is a bit of stencil.
I also finished this fun project. I've always wanted a CRASS banner and now I have one. I also have the stencil I cut from 9-million ply cardboard. Design measures about 22 by 32 inches on larger duck canvas.
Me too! I even love the way that clunky block of type sits under the figures. The loops though... WTF

I posted a collection of images and observations from a Smithsonian Report published in 1900. Wildlife photography, astronomy, and exploration were all the rage.
Graphic design and illustration friends, take a look!

Every six months or so I retire a notebook. They're filled with things I don't want to remember, or do want to remember.

I love it. I lot the mental detritus that these little books collect!
I'm about to retire one. I'll share some highlights.
The Eastgate Mall bridge in my commute is the most graceful design of the bunch that I drive under every day.
My daily commute takes me under more than 40 bridge complexes. I love their monumental and unpretentious utility. These massive structures also make me think about government's role in public safety. I trust DoT engineers with my life every single day.
Truly is, and he's not the only one. Part of this shock-and-awe strategy seems to include doing every despicable thing imaginable all at once... so cowardly, so foolish, and so cruel.
