even if insurance covers this vet visit, the vet follow-up visit, and the surgery, thats still anywhere from $600-$1000 dollars that we just don't have lying around anywhere. we can stave off the surgery indefinitely with medicine, but after like 6 months itll cost more than the surgery.

cat tax from when she was fat and healthy at a hale 8 pounds. she's lost literally 50% of her weight, most of that 50% in the last month. she is well-medicated and slowly gaining that weight back but even the medication + the extra food for her is money we don't have.
