Hahaha, Porro just gave up for the 5th. Absolutely rotten team
@shrewnaldo
Gaming addict, mostly Football Manager, some other games at which I'm absolutely awful. Football, Football Manager and books. That's about it really. Misanthrope. "... to read without joy is stupid", John Williams

Spurs ship four / five / eleven as Spaniards sink Tudor... something about an armada... I'll work on it
After all, BodΓΈ managed to win there not long ago
But Spurs are hilariously bad
Also, there has to be some good pun about Spaniards and dethroning Tudors in there somewhere
Appreciate there's a lot of hindsight bias here but... throwing a cold, inexperienced young 'keeper in for this 3rd game this season and 1st since Oct, in a Champions League knockout game... away... at AtlΓ©ti... with a shite defence... feels like an awful lot of the blame for that lies with Tudor
Listening on the radio and still feeling sorry for kinsky, to be fair
It's a very good rule. It let's the game play out, maintains momentum and maximises the use VAR to get it right
It also ends up showing how good the linos are and how many incredibly tight calls they get spot on
There's no real downside to it either. Just stop moaning
Also lol at spurs
I absolutely despise pundits who bemoan the "late offside flags" to allow the game to play out
Just heard it from Waddle on Radio 5, almost immediately followed by "oh it's tight, it's very tight" and Ian Dennis suggesting it would've been onside in a review
But Waddle will still moan next time
Points get halved going into the Championship group (and rounded down I'm 99% sure) so Austria will have 3 points separating the top 6 with 10 to play
Struggling to imagine anything better for Starmer's PR than pissing off Trump

Fuxache, can we just get a manager in already?
This is an absolute shambles and you can't really look past the senior hierarchy for where the blame lies #StandFree
No matter how the bar, these cunts never fail to fall embarrassingly short
"the only ones that need to be worried right now are Iranians that think they're going to live"
These people are trained in how to speak to the media and they're still this fucking stupid

Some Serie A clubs were linked with him recently - maybe even Inter. Clearly needs a move
100%. He just feels like a player in desperate need of a move - confidence completely shot at Spurs
31 years yesterday since Man Utd 9 - 0 Ipswich and it's never been bettered since
It might seem fanciful to say it but a Spurs implosion is entirely plausible (if not here already)
Hahahahahahahahahahaha, that third Palace goal is absolutely fucking hilarious
I cannot believe how bad that defending / goalkeeping is
if the player is making an attempt to play the ball then yes - booking only and no double jeopardy
That doesn't apply if the player makes no attempt to play the ball
Think that's just about the most "ooft, check the swazz on that" goal I've seen in a while from Osula
Wtaf is that from Chelsea? When did this sort of playground man baby shite become normal behaviour and not just American president guff?
Let's hope so.
At this point you just have to hope that US voters aren't impressed with the man baby mobster shtick just because they're on the strongest side
Hopefully Trump's misjudged the effect this will have on the midterms. I have no idea. 77 million of them voted for the cunt
Normalised giving absolute fuckwits any power whatsoever to basically say "war crimes? Whatevs"
I'll stick over here "clutching my pearls" thinking that the Rule of Law is more important than Might is Right

Absolutely. I'm very much an analytical person. Done loads of those personality tests with various jobs and I'm about as blue as blue can be
I'm 100% data > vibes with everything - work, real life, real football, video games. It's why I'd be so fun at parties if I ever went to any
If you want a short summary of Alistair Urquhart's incredible ordeal - from Singapore, to Hellfire Pass, to the Burmese railway, to Singapore docks, to hell ships, to being torpedoed and 5 days adrift on a raft and then to Nagasaki as Fat Man was dropped. Incredible.

I don't think I've ever found a book so viscerally horrifying
Perhaps because he was from Aberdeen, and I know the exact locations he described in the early chapters, made it more real. Perhaps because it is so wonderfully written.
Incredible book.
7 - The Forgotten Highlander, Alistair Urquhart (read by David Rintoul)
5/5
This might be the best non-fiction book I've ever read. Certainly top 5.
Absolutely brutal, utterly harrowing
Replaced by the old firm game today. Gutted.
For comparison, #fm24 NEVER dropped <75k until #fm26 was released
Despite being in the "cycle" for 2 years instead of 1.
And players haven't really gone back
I've tried going back but the experience of #fm26 seems to have sapped my energy for the whole genre
Just splendid work from SI
