Just feeling the mint hit my congested nose feels like it helps. Just don't over do it or it will sting

As for the tax money, it is the people's money, how it is spend is decided by votes. You can think of it as someone's money, but I think that kind of thinking leads to harmful outcomes. Either it justifies corruption for these that see the money as their own or feeds division from how it's spend.

I hope you are aware, pushing to divide people in already divisive time can only cause it to worsen. If you think it is a problem that half the country hates the other half, why then actively then nudge a split of the half into two again?

if you divide it by how many people live in nyc it is only about ~65$. So still a decent amount of money, but at that amount does not seem like such a bad trade.
