Jurisdictional issues re the SARA lead to a lot of passing the buck as to who's responsibility it is, how much action will really be taken until really no action is taken... sad state of affairs for all listed species in Canada

You also have to get an xray of your lungs $80 and lab work... not sure how much that costs as i'm still waiting!

The IRCC immigration medical for Canada is $225 and you have to go to a physician who's on a special list... all they do is listen to your breath sounds?! And take your height and weight! That's it! They want to ensure you don't have TB, I'm pretty sure my family doctor of 3 years could do that...

Wildlife health folks... ostriches may not leave the farm but surely this still poses a risk if migratory birds come into contact with the ostriches?

This should be everyone's teaching philosophy! Equality =/= equity and, in fact, schools dogged obsession with equality instead of equity is what continues to perpetuate disparity

Great report from FPB! This is such a common problem with range management in the province! There is very little follow up or enforcement of recommended management actions and compliance is basically a scouts honour system!
