The answer to why people think sex scenes in pop culture are unnecessary is that we as a society scorn people who practice the craft of making them good, and also scorn the very concept that it is a craft to begin with.

It is, very frankly, a skill issue.

I don’t know why this is the scene my mind immediately went to, since it‘s not from by current WIP. This one is actually from a WIP I put on the back burner right before lockdown and haven’t looked at since (I totally didn’t forget it existed there for awhile 😬)

I’ve always put a heftier focus on vibes, but for the past few years I’ve also added focus on the state of vegetation (or the lack of)...when I say it it sounds kinda weird, but I feel like it adds something to the feel of a place to talk about the flourish or decay of the little plant in the corner

I really enjoy writing places where nature is reclaiming space (like overgrown buildings) or there’s more of a co-habitation between nature and residents (cabins in forests, apartments full of plants, small towns with loads of green space and farmland, etc.) Writing spaces without greenery is scary

Note to self: actually come up with a working title to reference to. 🙄

Goals this week are the same as last week with the addition of working on my webpage. I think I want to give myself to the end of the month to have that done.
