2.8 inch and 1.8 inch colour TFT screens.
New year new screens. Since Iβm upgrading my MCU game thought I might as well have a go at some nicer displays, serious upgrade from the tiny SSD1306s Iβve been running up til now.

βReverse engineering of the software is not allowedβ. Lol. OK. Adding it to my 2025 todo list then.
Not sure my fingers can take anymore π€£
Turbo helping hands soldering aid. Basically a metal slab with rubber feet and magnetically attached googly arms with crocodile clips at the ends. It holds stuff so you donβt have to!
Will 2025 finally be the year I stop blu tak ing stuff to my desk to solder it?
Got a T91 MT in the cupboard, lovely little thing.

A camera on a stick with a honking optic hanging off it makes the writing visible on a chip that less than 1 centimetre squared. Significantly itβs doing this from about 40 centimetres up so I wonβt catch my head on it or block the light. Nifty.
Santa brought useful stuff, including this handy USB camera for making small stuff big. Bit more punch than a magnifier!
While browsing Amazon for camera arm stuff I realised that I already enough variously reconfigurable bits to sort out my overhead requirement, so now I can do rostrum video!
Small black box with tacky feet attached in the corners on the corner of a desk
A finishing touch to #ProjectDesklamp wee sticky feet so it doesnβt get dragged off the desk by the now longer cable.
"The chip has proven irresistible to radio enthusiasts, attracted by features of the chip that go far beyond what is needed by a car radio. It can receive not just the commercial broadcast bands, but also the shortwave and long-wave bands."

Those cables, arrrrgh
Clean desk. Computer on the left, scope and other test gear plus obligatory green mat in the mid, various VHF handsets and pens and the like on the right.
Alrighty then, since the big magnifier and other half of my task lighting is now functional, cleared the deck and ready for more RF stuff. Watch this space!
They just let anyone in these days
Yes I was wondering if anyone did a ham one
First bsky video, is this thing on?
This one is me.
