Yeah, just a little boost is probably all I’m looking for. Thanks!

Wow! I hadn’t realized these things existed! Definitely going to have to go down this rabbit hole.

We have a Trek kids bike. Good disc brakes on it. Probably will need to pay close attention to sizing for it.

And a Priority with a belt drive. At first glance, can’t tell if these kits support that.

Just intrigued by the idea of converting my kids’ bikes ourselves. Had never thought of that.
Been looking for something that I would consider a good option for a kids e-bike for years, but never found an option I would consider safe (and affordable) enough.

Do you have any recommendations for kits or DIY guides?

Just a reminder:

Yeah even when cars are driven legally, they are still more dangerous than a bicycle being ridden illegally.

Denver makes another U-turn on controversial Alameda Avenue plan, agrees to test original road diet The department plans to install a temporary demonstration of the original β€œroad diet” proposal.

This all could have been avoided if the mayor and DOTI hadn't completely beclowned themselves but huge props to the advocates that pushed so hard.

It doesn't mean nobody can own a car, just that the city needs to get its priorities straight.

We've spent a ton of time talking about teens getting injured on e-bikes (or illegal e-motos).

We've heard that crash rates are skyrocketing. Marin County Dept of Health even set up a dashboard to see how many e-bike/e-moto crashes are happening.

But how many kids are getting hurt *in cars*?

I cannot express how much I hope that what ultimately brings these motherfuckers down are the women who survived them as children.

Bicycles are not inconvenient. They have been inconvenienced.

Automobiles are not convenient. They have been convenienced.

The trends are clear, we need to build more safe infrastructure for people that have to or choose to bike.

Every car in your city represents $8-12K/year being sucked out of your local economy instead of being spent on housing, goods & services.

I wish more parking-obsessed retailers & elected officials understood this.

ICE and Trump have fully lost control of any narrative. Because all anyone saw yesterday was a bunch of insecure incels killing a man for being everything that is seen as what makes a good man.

One of the best things I’ve read in a while:

25.01.2026 22:39 πŸ‘ 28792 πŸ” 10724 πŸ’¬ 42 πŸ“Œ 980

Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

Every city in the US could have a mayor like this.β™₯οΈπŸ‘πŸΏ

There's nothing stopping us! We could all just choose better!

Notice how he puts the city service teams front and center in all his messaging, and his intentional language around serving each other.

'Check in on your neighbors."

"Your city."
