My attempt to restore the artwork of Thunder Cross used on arcade flyers and advertising. Removed seam between pages, text/logos, taking some liberties, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch process. Still cropped on the top/bottom. No clue on the artist, any info let me know!

That's one thing I find REALLY annoying about some remasters; they remove those bright, vibrant colors (and rich contrast) that made these games so visually charming to begin with, and instead replace those with more "realistic" lighting solutions that completely undercut the cartoony aesthetic.
Same, I wanna try out the sequel at some point :D
