He says, "I just can't help myself sometimes." The next panel shows Sumire and Joker sitting at a table in the cafe. Sumire says "O-Oh! That's okay, Akechi-san!"

A panel of Akechi, smiling, says "Let's change the subject to something a bit lighter." Each subsequent panel of Akechi zooms in while the background gets darker. The last panel shows a slightly zoomed out image of Joker on a dark background, with the word "Liar" written in white.

I'm replaying P5R with my sister, and I had forgotten how WILD the Akechi dialogues were.
