Augmented Empire, @coatsink.comβs turn-based tactical RPG, didnβt get much exposure despite being a banger of a mixed reality game.
A blast from the past as it also made its way to Gear VR and Oculus Go back in the day.

Puzzling Places!
It's super challenging to market, but itβs an exceptionally well-crafted VR app that truly deserves a spot in everyoneβs library.
He knows everything better than anyone, doesn't he? We'll soon see Elon Musk cloning facilities pop up
What if mixed reality games could be scaled to fit however much free space you have? We recently finished an update for Toybox Rebellion so that you can change the scale of everything in the game, making it possible to play a full game on a table if so desired #AR

We're running an exceptionally good Black Friday coupon deal over at XREAL Games - both of our hit VR shooters can be snagged for super cheap on Meta Quest.
I highly recommend giving Squingle a try!
It ticks all the hypercasual boxes for me - easy to get into, super creative puzzles (but not too challenging), perfect for short sessions, and visually appealing.
Super chill game.

Meta seems to prioritize user retention over organic spending in the Quest storeβor so it seems.
After each purchase, a pop-up aggressively pushes Quest+. While it provides enough games to keep players busy for months, it may also foster unfavorable spending habits.
Twitter has become too much of a hellscape so Iβm trying Bluesky again.

Iβm an avid XR fitness advocate with expertise in PR, marketing, digital store operations, XR advising, and everything that bridges the gap between developers and customers.
Since 2018, Iβve been with the indie VR studio XREAL Games, and Iβm always up for a chat about all things XR!
The thing about integrating XR tech into your cardio routine is that it makes workouts more enjoyable by immersing you in a virtual environment.
This added fun helps the average person seeking a healthier lifestyle sustain cardio sessions and turn them into a lasting habit.
1h10min XR workout, 400 calories burned.

Not as effective as running or cycling, but I didn't have to leave my living room, which makes XR fitness a super viable option for everyone πͺ
The average person is one-dimensional as a cardboard cutout.
Yes please π
Hereβs a thought: VR fitness doesnβt just train your body, itβs a mental health boost too. Studies show VR workouts can lower stress and anxiety. Sweat it out while escaping reality?
Sounds like a win to me. πͺ
3. Showcase what you got instead.
People don't care about the price tag it seems. People care about THE cool stuff. What Zuck should've done, is to demo where Reality Labs is at at the prototype level. Show what Meta could do at the 3500 USD price point, and explain why they chose not to go there.
If you have to make a sweaty video proving how your thing is better than the other thing, people will give you a side eye, no matter if what you are trying to say is true or not.
If you feel like you have to make one anyway, your general marketing/PR is at a bad spot.
2. It's rushed out of fear, and it shows.
The public- and media reactions to the ο£Ώ Vision Pro surprised Meta, and this is the result: a panic fueled, rushed attempt to steer public perception of the Quest 3 back to where it was pre-Vision Pro.
Zuck's ο£Ώ Vision Pro video is a PR disaster.
1. You don't openly call brand supporters 'fanboys'.
I mean, yeah, the term itself is widely accepted and used to mock brand zealots, but as the CEO and face of a competitor brand, you just.. don't do that publicly. You don't. Fuel to the fire.
Real talk: where can one buy such a magnificient vegemite shirt?
Is it VR cardio though?π
