I'm interested in options... I find that word & excel do what I need them, the Google version doesn't... but I haven't found an alternative, at least not yet

They're all pretty good. My Mummy is Evil makes a great Mother's Day present. Creative Writing for Wellbeing is all about how creative writing is good for mental health. Lizzy's Dragon is an Aussie fantasy about a water breathing dragon. My Princess Wears a superhero cape give a great message...
Thanks for sharing, I appreciate the support
Yep, and the fact it 'has' to be 30 days... honestly, we could be out of here in 2 weeks now, but that's the rules...
I am in the process of moving house... and I quite a few copies of my books at home.
Please help me move by buying a book (or more) from me so that I don't have to move them!
Postage to Australia only

It really is, especially when you're still paying at your previous place with the 30 days notice... This is what we're doing right now... I have a lovely place, but moving is so expensive. Money is crazy tight atm, but the new place will be fantastic
Fascinating... in Victoria we're expected to pay at least 4 weeks (ie a calendar month) in advance
We drove past one too... ended up having a great chat with my kids about the Australian electoral system and Clive Palmer spending money last time & not getting a seat!
I'm about a 3rd of the way through this one, enjoying it so far
This was a huge experiment in what happens with a UBI (in some ways) and the results show it was better for everyone, yet those in charge are completely ignoring the impacts... there were so many positives to raising the rate, inc people finding work, that shouldn't be ignored
My last TV was like that. Was on the side of the road, got a universal remote & it lasted for years
I thought they were wanting to reduce waste... doing yet another study between autism & vaccines is a waste of money, the studies have been done & the claim they were linked has already been debunked!
I've missed this post. I am so sorry to hear you're closing, it can't have been an easy decision. Thoughts are with you during this time (I can relate, I did similar with my last business after 9.5 years, it's not easy)
I know I am more productive from home as I don't have the interruptions I do in the office, the environment suits my sensory needs with heat/cold, etc, and I can take breaks when I need to instead of sitting at the desk 'performing' being productive when I really need a brain break...
Anytime :) May have finished another by then... all going to plan
It's still possibly my weirdest book (as requested :) )
Though some of my short stories in 'Stories through the Rainbow' are a bit weird...

I have a picture book called 'My Mummy is Evil', inspired by my kids calling me evil for making them go to bed at normal time in the school holidays. It's weird because it embraces kids calling their mum 'evil', but also has a quirky sense of humour.
IMO, anyone who makes this a crime has an obligation to do everything possible to ensure that everyone has a safe and stable home... it is not a crime to be homeless
So, instead of working out why they aren't attending school, they treat them like criminals??? This doesn't make any sense at all... (technically, my kids would have been considered truants based on attendance, but it was for health reasons)
One 'problem' with collecting picture books is that you need to pack them up to move house... I have nearly 300 of them, so far in 3 boxes & still some don't fit... wonder if I need to reduce what I have & just keep my faves?
If anyone would like to help with moving costs, I have some amazing books (buying direct also means I don't have to move them...) - melissagijsbers.com/my-books/
I also have Ko-Fi - ko-fi.com/melissagijsb...
After months of searching, inspecting, and applying, I've been approved for a new rental!! I'll be moving soon & starting the next chapter of my life...
The thought of getting everything sorted & packed up, is overwhelming!
This is pretty much what we're told we have to do with the Job Search Agencies & the 'job plans'... so nothing new here
Anyone who says Centrelink hold times are improving has obviously not called recently ๐คฃ
I haven't seen the fictional version. I found the stories of the people involved interesting too
I watched that doco tonight, it was good
For those who don't know, I'm an author & the library is my happy place... so that wasn't what I needed at all
I agree. I wrote a post last year about how, in order for me to build capacity again & recover from burn out, I need to have a cleaner, money to live, a safe place to live (I didn't put those last ones but should have). I don't need to be introduced to the library... as one place offered!
This is exactly why I doubt a social media ban will work...
