Cooking has really become such a fun, creative space for me. Something I look forward to and have truly enjoyed as I've delved deeper into the kitchen over the last 3 years.

Another brunch in the books! I made congee with mushrooms, pork chops, bacon, scallions, and fried eggs. For dessert, I nailed the red velvet chocolate cookies. I definitely need to practice my madeleines recipe. Tasted great, but the shape didn't come out well and overfilled the molds. 🤤

On my kitchen wishlist, the complete kitchen bundle of hexclad pans, knives, and mixing bowls 😌 They are so pretty and every food tiktoker has them 😭

I've started reading Flavor Matrix. This book is RIVETING already. What a fun cooking resource. The book essentially focuses on the aromatic compounds in common kitchen ingredients. The authors then created little flavor wheels with bar lengths to show how close profiles of items are in relation.

As someone who has recently started playing Wuthering Waves, I'm a bit stressed by the anniversary banners that come up next week. I can pull almost anyone. I think I'm pulling for Zani and Phoebe. I already have Shorekeeper, Verina, Calchoro, and Lingyang. Hmmmm

It only took me 5ever to finally get a shiny, and I'm very happy it's Dondozo. Along with my rainbow Tinkaton, I can patiently await the next expansion. ☺️
