New story - Henry Metelmann. I concluded for this one he ought to tell the story himself so combined extracts from his book with the 1997 BBC History file video with structured qus.

This story does so much not just on youth but also terror, control & disciplinary thinking.

As we prepare for a new week at school, I know that some pupils will remember the time I told them off last week, whether it was for behaviour, homework, punctuality or attitude to learning.
My job is to pretend that none of it happened, give everyone a fresh start, & hope they do the same for me 🤞

I teach 6 different classes, and in the first few weeks of the year there was 1 that definitely challenged me quite a bit. Big gulp (and prayer!) before they walked in each day.

Now? Hands down my favorite classroom community.
