like is it revolutionary or anything? no. its a bunch of confused searching poetry about alienation and war over pop punk riffs. but to little fggt child at the time completely alienated by the society around her, it was like, The Only Thing that remotely made sense.

kind of a unique album in american popular music since like, the 60s. despite its poetic vagueries and ambiguities it still is pretty explicitly an anti-war and anti-nationalist album that was like, Huge during a time of whipped up nationalist frenzy in this country.
