This is good! And comes perfectly timed as I am on a short vacation and am finding some time to think of board game designs.

Maybe .Non-playerCharacters? Just to be sure to annoy your future self.
working on a #newthing. fun :D
Well put, you literally hit the nail on the head there.
Without knowing anything about your engine, this does sound fantastic to me.
I don't know if I see it as winning. It is more that I have reached the destination.
Finally it happened.
My process for finding Bento outputs that I like is deliberately not that efficient. I enjoy taking my time and watching the outputs appear in an animated way.
Two outputs from my generative art series Bento. Both are compositions of rectangles, some with rounded corners, and circles. Mostly white on a dark blue background. Some shapes are red and some are yellow.
Sometimes the machine creates twins.
It was hard to not take it further.
All the ingredients were already on the table. Someone had to throw them together and cook the soup.

What are you two waiting for?
I intend to spend more time painting and making music the older I get. Am I doing it wrong?
Three outputs from the generative art series Bento. Compositions of geometric shapes. Mostly squares, some with rounded corners, and some circles.
Bento definitely looks best in sets.

More Bento work today.
: )
I would love to see that ship.
It's been a while since I last touched one of my generative art projects. Dusting off Bento to create some postcards and prints.
Snippet of code from a generative art project. One chance variable is set to: "actually this is handled by some magic numbers"
At least I am honest about it.
Hey!
Our prototype so far does not have any other creatures to interact with, but that is definitely the plan. We want there to be incentives to be on the ground and in the trees and to interact with the plants and creatures around you.
Four drawings of ideas for our game. Most show our creature Lai interacting with nature or other creatures.
Often my projects don't require me to draw much and I forget how much I actually enjoy it.
Some sketches for Foundling.
Because you having a thoughtfully designed alternative was really hurting their sales...
Don't forget to play outside.
A full playthrough of our current prototype.
Thoughts, feedback, feelings welcome.

Such pleasantly strange perspectives our prototype produces.
Yeah that sounds really useful.
Thanks for explaining. I think I get it : )
Are there sometimes outcomes that surprise you? For example it judging notes as very similar that to you feel not so related.

Prototype progress.
You can easily get lost in our forest, but that doesn't seem so bad to be honest.
I don't really know what I am looking at, but it does make me feel you are living in the future.
I'm only at puzzle 25, but already can say it is fantastic. The density of ahha-moments is pleasantly high.
Also seeing the amazement of my son when we had to figure out new rules by ourselves, was great : )

I've ordered his puzzle books and the Herd board game. Looking forward to trying them all out.
