Finally back to writing a bit. Picked up something old and unusual (for me) and started revising it.
A "Don't make me tap the sign" meme. The sign reads: "Just because I enjoy fictional depictions of bad things happening to people, that doesn't mean I want those bad things to happen to real people in real life." Below that is the text: "Yes, this includes porn."
And it case anyone was confused: Enjoying fictional depictions of bad things happening to people DOES NOT MEAN that you want those bad things to happen to real people in the real world.
Surely this time, THIS TIME, the fascists will stop at the icky kinks and not go any farther than that.
Surely they have our best interest in mind and will only go after the truly degenerate, and leave us pure hearted queers alone.
And in any case: "the Government will be conducting a 'broader review [around extreme pornography] and looking at what more needs to be done' in future."
So yeah, they might be coming for your favorite kink next.

Sad that we can feel not enough at times. But you now have the rest of your life to be slutty and embrace your gorgeousness.
Trying to unstick my writing brain. Read over a problematic story. Maybe everyone has one: a story that just doesn't gel. I've rewritten this one about five times over the last few months, ripped it apart and squished it back together. Reading it tonight it almost feels right. Almost.
