I have been really sick the last few days. So after I finished my sweater, I caked yarn for three projects. A sweater, a shawl and a pair of socks.

🤣🤣🤣 I had a bad few days with my back. So all I could do was sit and knit. Plus there was all that mad weather last weekend. Also when I put my mind to it I am a very fast knitter. Your yarn is also so lovely to knit with 😍

It is definitely trial and error with socks,.my first pair are definitely bed socks. Now I prefer socks with a high wool content. It is definitely the way to go. And I was someone who swore black and blue life was too short to knit socks

Sweet divine Jesus, my now 20 yr old daughter, had this argument with her classmates at the age of 13. Her logic was why wouldn't you take something that could save your life. She took the vaccine, I consented, her now 13 yr old brother will take it in the next few weeks. It is life SAVING

I knit my first pair of socks during covid. They ended up to big, and we'll the yarn stretched a fair bit too. I am now addicted and can adjust to fit. And yes they decreases should be where your markers are.

I was lucky, I met and worked for some fantastic people. The NYC I knew and loved, died on 9/11. The America I knew died the first time Trump was elected, and it hasn't recovered. I hope and pray that it will recover and support anyone that lives in fear today. ❤️💔❤️💔

It's a scary place. As someone who over stayed a holiday visa, for close to 4 years, I can only imagine the fear, of people like me today. I loved exploring NYC, the only place I didn't like was Trump Towers. The tacky gold plating, the look at me attitude, it was childish then as it is now

OK. So in 1996, I arrived age 20, into Washington DC. On route to NYC, where I was to live for a year as an Au Pair. I was a naive Irish girl in a big city, away from everyone who knew me and my family. It was terrifying and freeing at the same time. The US of today is not somewhere I want to be.
