They say some of them were fun colors! I told T in the future I want a reboot with updated dino characters
We are watching Jurassic Park and I'm like, that dinosaur would have had lips, those dinosaurs would have had feathers , that little buddy would have been fuzzy with lips; I'm super fun to watch movies with π¦
I am especially extra annoyed when those folks pull out the very tired "I never see anyone using that bike lane/on the bus/on the streetcar/insert a public transpo:right of way here" aaaahhhhhhhh!!!
Woo hoo, back to Milan Cortina!
I've been interested in getting a 3D printer....someday....but as of now, it's impossible for me to get more bobbins for my spinning wheel. If that doesn't change later this year, then I guess for Xmas I'm getting myself a 3D printer
Just baking cookies, watching Mister Rogers: Itβs You I Like, and weeping; as one does
The stupid H0mes AI ad showing a million dollar house walkable to Whole Foods, I said, but where's the nearest data center and T started pronouncing and talking about data centers like Moira Rose and I am now deceased
I got TapeOp for years, stopped really just cos of space; I absolutely love hearing about creative process. Recording, writing, filming, arts, crafts, etc....so the knitting/other fiber arts podcasts I like the most would be like the TapeOps of fiber
Hockey is better when it's girls.
Me, watching F1 The Movie, ooooohhhhhh this is just like when I played Pole Position at the arcade
Twizzles
I also get really emotional while watching. I'm so proud of everyone and I will cry, gasp and cheer their efforts
I love the Olympics, and I especially love the Winter Games βοΈ
"Stick to (whatever) and kEeP PoLiTiCs oUt Of iT" people need to settle down and reflect on why their children don't speak to them anymore, instead
I'm finding myself in a state of "just get through this", and not in the grounding way, but in the purgatory way; so just a reminder to try to catch yourself when you notice this
Some things about hats; visual solidarity at a time when loudmouth turnips seem to number more than they do, tidying up some online spaces of said turnips, opens convos leading to other helpful measures, raising v large amounts of doll hairs that will go right into the needs of communities
68 on the thermostat is SO HIGH to me, but it's SO LOW to my parents π€£π€£
Ok but what if the Beans & Barley owners buy Simple Soyman tofu and put that back into production
Instead of just one eye stress twitching, now they both are
Omg it's only Tuesday still
It's so beautiful out today with big, fluffy snow coming down. Took a nice long walk, now cocooned in blankets & flannel pjs, flavored coffee (not norm for me) w whipped cream and marshmallows. Changed the TV screensaver to fireworks. Gonna make me a new winter hat.
The most intense and truly frighteningly sick I've ever gotten in my life are each and every time I've had the flu. Pretty unnerved about this current flu season.
Ah meaning this Limbo week is not as festive or fun as it could be, and that is all on me
I'm not Orthodox, Tudor, or in my 20s, so for me "holiday season" is the delight from Thanksgiving to Xmas. Limbo week is necessary but not for reasons u may think. Jan/Feb is bummer town, dark of winter w no twinkly lights. To mis-paraphrase, may you be your own light when all other lights go out
My favorite Xmas movies are the sad tender ones that portray the messiness of humanity & the brilliance of love, hope & redemption. It's a great reminder, especially in such trying times, to take stock in how you spend yr time, the company u keep & what energy you are exuding into the world π
This is the brewing cacao I buy. Each listing has a Dietary section, so you can confirm vegan, non-gluten, etc

Long live Gus Polinski!
I really want to see the National Theatre Live: Frankenstein, which I missed viewing a broadcast from London in Chicago that one year (or however they did), but I think I can sub to Natl Theatre and stream it now. I'm not sure both versions are available but I'll take what I can get.
I watched the new Frankenstein and there were things so deeply beautiful and moving and things that were fine and I'm going to watch it again, but my absolute favorite is still The Bride of Frankenstein. Followed by Young Frankenstein and Lisa Frankenstein; which I guess says something about me
