Arenโt the markets supposed to be forward looking?
@urtica-dioica
Switching between overthrowing capitalism and investing in shitty stocksโฆ and dad jokes. If we canโt overthrow it, can we at least improve it by about 75%? (economics types love numbers). Love me sport. Sydney Swans, Man United, Tรญr Eoghain, Ireland๐ฎ๐ช
Arenโt the markets supposed to be forward looking?
Any #mushroomcoffee drinkers out there? Whatโs peopleโs thoughts? Taste? Benefits?
Matt Hancockโs neighbour and pub landlord suddenly got into the PPE business after being awarded a ยฃ40m Covid contract but Hancock is insisting that the inquiry is hostile.
He should be in prison.
I reckon we are done for CBs for the next couple of years. Young Heaven looks like a superb signing ๐๐ป
Well a bit unlikely then ๐
They can do a number of things. They could have a gov overdraft where they donโt pay billions in interest to the already rich. They could follow Japan and use the Central bank to control yields, or they could tax billionaires. But they chose the poor and working class as their targetsโน๏ธ
WTF? Where can I find out more about this Andy??
Means he would usually (or should) score that over 50% of the time.
Iโm taking that as an absolute given.
Austerity is a political choice.
UK govt gave ยฃ70.6bn tax relief on pension contributions.
63% went to 6m 40%/45% tax rate payers.
37% to 28.1m basic rate taxpayers.
By fixing the relief at 20% for all Govt can reduce inequalities and have ยฃ14.5bn spare.
End tax perks of the rich.
Well, it may just be that they donโt want to remind people that we could build the new stadium for very little debt, if they hadnโt of sucked a billion out of the club and spent decades undermining the club.
I hope youโre right. ๐ค๐ป

Just a reminder that if it wasnโt for the Glazers sucking the economic life out of the club, we would probably be able to build this with very little debt.
Parasitic,inbred, weirdos.
Ambitious, and it has to be tbf. Hard to see where the funds will
come from though. Going โbrokeโ by end of โ25 to investing ยฃ2bn leaves a lot of questions.
Stadium naming rights is a given but will need massive equity raising (and hard to see the glazers green lighting that) and more debt.
The finished version rarely looks like the CPU image. I think it will look less โtent likeโ in reality as the cables prob wonโt be very visible from a distance away.
The US were pushing the โfree tradeโ agenda for years on the rest of the world, but as soon as itโs no longer giving them the advantage, its tariffs and protectionism.
Thatโs were community and collectiveness are sadly lacking. Ppl need to support each other but our modern society relies on conflict and competition.
Ppl aspiring to be the next Trump rather than being a decent human being
Good honest defender, who gives his all ๐๐ป
Apathy is the very worst of human traits.
Why donโt ppl get more upset about this sort of thing!?
Itโs perplexing!
Easier to blame immigrants, it seems
We don't need a London Office.
An entirely Glazer created thing because they assumed Manchester wasn't good enough.
Shut it down. A barnacle on the club
Couple of years ago, Ac Milan ultras did this against their owners and they succeeded.
It is time to do the same against The Glazers ๐ ? #MUFC
Richard Madeley compared Palestine to Nazi Germany, and then said that all the children killed were collateral damage of an essential invasion.
RT if him and his hideous views need to be banned from UK TV.
(Richard Madeley in October 2023.)
Youโre correct about the rule but I just think itโs a rule that should be tweaked to allow clubs to get their debt under control (or ideally eliminate it).
The whole point of FFP was to protect clubs.
But spending limits due to FFP could remain the same but the debt is paid off. All that would change is the club would be taken out of a precarious situation.
Sorry but are you saying a major shareholder cannot simply pay off existing debt under FFP rules?
That seems ludicrous!
I mean, itโs not going to happen regardless, but fail to see the logic of this.
Tesla sales down 25% in Europe apparently. Musk alienating what would normally be a target demographic for EV cars (progressives) not the best business practice . Him and Trump are 2 peas in a pod; just not as smart as they think they are.
Well done ๐๐ป
