Next up, we're so excited to be sharing new work by artist Yto Barrada. She works across textiles, film, sculpture and painting. Her work explores colour, ecology, colonial histories and cultural memory. She uses natural dyes from her artist-led eco-campus linking labour, migration and resistance.

An installation by artist Leonardo Drew. It looks like a large explosion of dark wood in an gallery.
Leonardo Drew's process is meditative, involving repetitive labour. βMy work & life are not separate. They are the same thing. I donβt work with found objects because there is already a history embedded in that material. I need to go through the rigours of touching it, living itβ¦become the weather.β

An art installation by Leonardo Drew at Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The work is a large immersive sculpture, made up of lots of broken, charred wood panels. They are arranged in piles that come up from the floor into tall structures.
COMING SOON: Leonardo Drew: Ubiquity II opens on 30 May!
Known for his explosive sculptural works, Drew creates reflective abstract pieces that play on the tension between order and chaos. Transforming and eroding materials by hand in the studio, he explores the cyclical nature of life and decay.
